Payment Solutions
Our unique and exclusive arrangement with the Post Office is the quickest and most efficient way of paying out money to your customers – all they need is a mobile phone, and to take it to their nearest post office in order to receive their funds.
Quick, cost-effective, cheap, and hassle free for all involved – everyone benefits by using our payment solutions. End users love the fact they don’t have to give any bank details, or any details at all except for their mobile number and management love our system’s accountability and reporting ability. By setting a validity period on the funds, you can even limit the exposure for your accounting that the traditional cheques and transfers normally create.
Don’t take our word for it: get an example sent to your mobile to see the process in action. The cash you collect is a free drink on us!
HOW IT WORKS
According to your schedule for when pay-outs are to be sent, you supply us a .CSV file with the data and we do the rest.
An SMS is sent by us to the customer’s mobile phone. They simply need to take this to any of the UK’s 12,000 Post Office branches and present it over the counter – they will then receive their payout in cash, plus the receipt. Only if specified by you, the remunerator will they be required to show identification.
We can process payments the next working day, if requested; otherwise, customers can expect to receive their payouts within 4 working days.
Set-up
A simple contract between the remunerator and ourselves must be put in place and then we will implement the appropriate requirements to set the service up. This process will normally take up to 7 working days.
Expiry
We recommend a validity period of 30 days, after which the payout is cancelled and the face value is not charged to the remunerator. Each week, we send a .CSV reconciliation file to you, showing which payouts have been cashed and which are still pending. This set-up limits the exposure on your accounting that cheque-based remuneration creates, ensuring a much smoother accounting process.
Support
Whilst there is little for you, the Remunerator, to do within the process, we are specialists in our field and can provide expert support and advice whenever necessary. We’re always available via phone and email to support you.
Post Office customer support protocols are in place should any problems arise in the claiming of payouts, and if any issues arise we will deal directly with the Post Office on your behalf.
